Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries soften and release their juice (about 5-7 minutes).
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with lemon juice to make a slurry.
- Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the strawberry mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the filling thickens.
