- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, honey, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with your favorite side dish.

- For a crispy finish, sear the chicken in a hot skillet and finish cooking in the oven at 375°F for 10-15 minutes.
