- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake the crust for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow it to cool completely.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, sugar, and egg yolks until thickened (about pudding consistency). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Layer sliced bananas evenly over the cooled crust. Pour the custard filling gently on top of the bananas.
- In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe on top of the assembled pie.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving for optimal texture.
