  • 8 oz dark chocolate (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and eggs until smooth. Fold in melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Roll the cake with parchment paper inside and allow it to cool completely rolled up.
  5. For the ganache, heat heavy cream and dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
  6. Unroll the cooled cake, spread whipped cream on top, sprinkle with hazelnuts, then roll it back up without parchment. Frost with ganache.
