Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean bowl, whip egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in almond flour and powdered sugar mixture along with red gel food coloring.
  4. Pipe small circles onto prepared baking sheets and let rest for about 30 minutes until a skin forms.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until shells lift easily off parchment. Cool completely before filling with buttercream.
