  1. 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  2. 2 sausages (Italian or smoked), sliced into rounds
  3. 2 cups broccoli florets
  4. 3 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 3 tablespoons honey
  6. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  7. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  8. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  9. 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  10. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage slices and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender. Remove and set aside with the sausage.
  • In the same skillet, add the final tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds, then pour in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the sausage, shrimp, and broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together, coating it in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy

Notes

  • You can substitute the sausage with chicken sausage or another type of sausage of your choice.
  • For extra flavor, drizzle a little more honey over the dish before serving.
