- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or any topping of choice)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, then place the halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly over each piece of bread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
- Add your preferred toppings (like pepperoni, vegetables, or cooked sausage).
- Sprinkle dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
