Instructions

- In another bowl, cream together softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture until smooth.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients without overmixing.
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping if desired.
- Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
