- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- ΒΌ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease or line an 8Γ8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
