- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1/2 tsp orange zest
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, flour, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth, about 5-7 minutes. Cover and let rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cranberries, orange zest, and cinnamon.
- Roll up the dough tightly and slice it into 12 rolls. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
- Once the rolls are done, drizzle the orange glaze over them while theyโre still warm.
Notes
- You can use dried cranberries if fresh ones arenโt available.
- For extra flavor, try adding a bit of vanilla extract to the glaze.
- The rolls can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
