Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in Chocolate: Gently fold in the chocolate chunks.
  6. Shape and Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
