Description

These moist and fluffy muffins combine the sweet-tart flavor of blueberries with the indulgent richness of chocolate chips. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert, they’re easy to make and utterly delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  2. ¾ cup sugar
  3. 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  4. ½ tsp baking soda
  5. ¼ tsp salt
  6. 1 large egg
  7. ¾ cup milk
  8. ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  9. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  10. 1 cup fresh blueberries
  11. ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries and chocolate chips.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little sugar on top of the muffins before baking.
  • You can use frozen blueberries, but don’t thaw them to prevent color bleeding.
  • Substitute the mini chocolate chips with regular-sized chips for a richer chocolate experience.
