This Big Mac Casserole captures all the classic flavors of a Big Mac burger in a cheesy, comforting casserole form. With seasoned ground beef, cheese, pickles, and a special sauce, this dish is perfect for a family dinner or potluck!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or 1 1/2 cups of biscuit mix)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  • Cook Beef:
    • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in the onion soup mix, garlic powder, and mustard powder. Set aside.
  • Prepare Big Mac Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
  • Assemble Casserole:
    • Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with biscuit dough, pressing it down to fit.
    • Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly on top of the biscuits.
    • Drizzle the Big Mac sauce over the beef.
    • Sprinkle chopped pickles evenly over the sauce, then top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  • Bake:
    • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version of this casserole.
  • For extra flavor, add lettuce and tomato on top after baking to make it even more like a Big Mac!
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
