This Big Mac Casserole captures all the classic flavors of a Big Mac burger in a cheesy, comforting casserole form. With seasoned ground beef, cheese, pickles, and a special sauce, this dish is perfect for a family dinner or potluck!

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or 1 1/2 cups of biscuit mix)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Cook Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the onion soup mix, garlic powder, and mustard powder. Set aside.
- Prepare Big Mac Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Assemble Casserole:
- Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with biscuit dough, pressing it down to fit.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly on top of the biscuits.
- Drizzle the Big Mac sauce over the beef.
- Sprinkle chopped pickles evenly over the sauce, then top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake:
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version of this casserole.
- For extra flavor, add lettuce and tomato on top after baking to make it even more like a Big Mac!
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
