- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 Β½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Β½ tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the casserole: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by half of the remaining marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheese.
- Season: Sprinkle garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper evenly over the top.
- Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the ravioli are tender.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked ground beef, sausage, or vegetables between the layers for extra flavor.
- If you prefer a crispier top, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes after baking.
